FarSun Installation Systems Professional Balcony has launched a new installation solution for photovoltaic installation on high-rise balconies.

The new mounting structure, called PV FarSun Balcony, is made from 6005-T5 aluminum alloy and SUS 304 stainless steel in varying anodized thicknesses, which are said to offer excellent corrosion resistance and durability. "It is suitable for use in coastal areas and many other harsh environments where corrosion is more likely," the manufacturer says. “Since all components are pre-assembled, installation can be completed in a very short time.”

The structure is adjustable to accommodate different types of balconies of common sizes with metal railings. Balcony continues that its standardized components are suitable for both large and small panels.

According to the manufacturer, the system comes with a 10-year product warranty and can be installed on balconies using Allen keys, torque wrenches and spanners. "Compared to other installation systems for residential solar projects, PV FarSun solar balconies can be installed directly on a building's balcony, requiring very little space while generating sustainable daily energy," said Balcony Area Manager, International Sales SanbornGuo said.

According to the manufacturer, the mounting solution has passed rigorous wind tests. The test angle is 0 degrees to 30 degrees, and the wind speed is 30m per second.
